Whenever it’s unbearably hot (as it almost always is these days),
I find myself dreaming of Japanese cold noodles… like the one I had on a sweltering summer afternoon in Okinawa, served with ice cubes and plenty of vegetables.

My lazy solution:
Soumen topped with ice cubes and a seasoned scallop from Isetan’s Hokkaido Fair,
egg salad sprinkled with pepper and dried parsley.

天气一熱,就想起冲繩海邊那碗冷麵。
麵條、冰块,還有新鮮多彩的蔬菜。

因爲懒,所以只准備了水煮蛋,
随手拿了個腌渍带子,
热天下午,
一個人的午餐。
